4. Data Retention and Storage

4.1 Retention Periods

We retain your data according to the following schedule:

  • Uploaded Files: Stored for 90 days after upload, then automatically deleted (unless otherwise specified in your plan)
  • Analysis Results: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days
  • Account Information: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after account closure
  • Billing Records: Retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations

4.2 Data Storage Location

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. Data may be stored in multiple geographic regions for redundancy and performance. All storage locations comply with applicable data protection laws.

4.3 Automatic Deletion

To protect your privacy and manage storage costs:

  • Uploaded files are automatically deleted after the retention period
  • You can manually delete files and analyses at any time through your account
  • Account closure triggers deletion of all user data within 30 days

4.4 Data Export

You may export your analysis results and reports at any time while your account is active. We provide data export functionality in common formats (PDF, CSV, JSON) depending on your subscription tier.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our IP Rights

cloudCostAI and all related technology, including but not limited to:

  • The software, code, and algorithms powering the Service
  • The website design, layout, and user interface
  • Our trademarks, logos, and brand assets
  • Documentation, guides, and instructional materials
  • AI models, prompts, and analysis methodologies

are owned by cloudCostAI and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Conditions.

5.2 Your IP Rights

You retain all intellectual property rights to:

  • The files and data you upload to the Service
  • Your cloud infrastructure configurations
  • Any proprietary business information contained in your uploads

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data.
